I have built and used water heaters for over 20 years on my dredges. They work and will supply lots of hot water. The smallest one was on a 5", and it still made lots of hot water. I now use a neoprene dry suit and won''t be going back to hot water. Although I did have to buy an on demand water heater for that shower when I get out of my suit.
